System Requirements for Webinars

To ensure a smooth webinar experience, please make sure your device meets the following requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, or the latest iOS/Android version for mobile devices
  • Browser: Latest version of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox
  • Internet Connection: Minimum 5 Mbps for video streaming; wired connections recommended for stability
  • Software: Zoom (latest version) or the designated webinar platform installed
  • Hardware: Speakers or headphones, microphone if you plan to ask questions, webcam optional

Testing Audio & Video

Before joining a webinar:

  1. Open Zoom (or the webinar platform) and test your microphone, speakers, and camera.
  2. Join the test meeting provided by the platform to ensure everything works properly.
  3. Adjust volume, webcam angle, and lighting for optimal viewing.

Tip: Close other applications or browser tabs that may consume bandwidth for the best performance.

Troubleshooting Connectivity Issues

If you experience audio, video, or connectivity problems during the webinar:

  • Refresh your browser or restart the Zoom application.
  • Switch to a wired internet connection if using Wi-Fi.
  • Try an alternative device or browser if problems persist.
  • Disable VPNs or firewalls temporarily if they block access.
